Moai 7 was inspired by the minimalistic appearance of Easter Island statues and how they express their mysterious and proud qualities. My goal was to create that expression with just seven wood boards and minimal carving.
It is made out of 7 reclaimed redwood boards, glued, doweled and finished with Linseed Oil. Installed on concrete base.

This sculpture is currently on display at 1440 Multiversity in Scotts Valley, CA
This sculpture was inspired by the meditative and calming qualities of the reclaimed wood. My goal was to transform the wood into a simple Yogi sculpture that invites people to be present and mindful.
The sculpture is made out of two layers of reclaimed redwood. Sanded and rubbed with Linseed Oil. Mounted on a concrete base..

The wall sculpture “Oops, The Chocolate Melted!” tells the story that even a little mishap in the kitchen, like accidentally melted chocolate, still looks and tastes delicious. The natural colors and grain of the reclaimed redwood, the carved “melting waves” in combination with the smooth surface lead to the sweet temptation to actually take a bite.
Made out of 100% pure reclaimed redwood - it's delicious!
