Together is a rough-cut silhouette of two figures embracing. The raw edges and rough surfaces keep the sculpture grounded in its original redwood material and hint at the roughness that can emerge from close-up interactions. But the natural state of humans coming together transcends that harshness and allows for a warm connection. Sadness may linger, but it’s so much easier to bear in the arms of another person.
Together was also featured at Burning Man 2025.
