This year’s piece that I donated is called “Four …. Your Imagination” and is made from reclaimed Douglas fir wood. The inspiration - four people, four flames, four plants, four birds,...? It's up to your imagination! This one is made from the cut-off pieces of another sculpture. I laminated the pieces on their planed sides and was surprised about the new shapes that emerged. The wood is from old wall studs with nail holes, black discolorations and other imperfections which gives it a very unique character. It measures 40 x 24 x 6 inches.
